Continuing my Dragon Tour as Children’s Laureate Foundation with a trip to Lake Macquarie Museum of Art and Culture MAC in NSW. What a lovely venue to present at. It was a beautiful blue sky day as I told stories and drew with years 3-6 students from 2 local primary schools. Then in the evening there was a meet up with local CBCA members, librarians, authors and illustrators accompanied of course by lots of laughter. The last slide is a video of the amazing sand dunes of Newcastle. Thank you to Rachel Mallaby for making my visit so wonderful. It was a quick fly in fly out visit but worth every memorable moment. Today it’s back to Melbourne with a dash in to MacLean’s Booksellers in Newcastle on my way to the airport.
