Somerset – one of the best kids’ lit festivals for students

Somerset Celebration of Literature is one of my favorite festivals to attend.

It’s a fantastic three day event for students and adults on the Gold Coast. Over 30 authors were invited. This year was the festival’s 21st anniversary and up to 54 schools attended and more than 15,000 tickets were sold.

The dedication of teachers, staff and parents is wonderful.

Here’s a small glimpse into the festival.

My minders Maddi and Marina. Two gorgeous students from Somerset College who looked after me during the festival.
