  1. Hello Gabi,

I would very much like to be involved in the Befriend a Child in Detention project. I’d be happy to donate books (I’ve had a few children’s books published) or write to child, or both but I can’t get your link , above, to work. I’d appreciate your help with this.

  3. Hi there – my daughter told me about sending new books to children in detention and I would like to do this. Can you tell me where to send them? I would be interested in writing to someone in detention. I am a 65 year old retired nurse, a mother and a grandmother and have a such outrage about how these families are being treated. Any information or advice would be great. Many thanks. Jenny Taylor

Thank you for writing and your interest in Befriend a Child in Detention. We have been overwhelmed with books and letters so at this stage we have put a pause on the letter writing program.
