Autumn days in the time of Corona

My son Ren celebrated his birthday last week so I painted him a picture. We had a Zoom family dinner this year because of lockdown and I couldn’t bake him a birthday cake. When this is all over being together with family again will be something to cherish. Not that I ever took it for granted.

As a little boy Ren loved to play in the falling autumn leaves in our street which is lined with beautiful old oak trees. The trees are home to Tawny Frogmouths, Rainbow Lorikeets, Magpies, Butcherbirds, Ravens and sometimes swarms of bees. We are so lucky to be surrounded by beautiful nature in the midst of a big city.

How is your lockdown going?

Stay safe and well
